Representingceltic is todays NAP. He was beaten narrowly over 2m4f recently, but had to come from a long way back and was really travelling well at the finish, so this step up in trip should be ideal for him.

NAP:

I am going for Precision Strike, Each Way, in the 17:45 thirsk. This horse has been in cracking form recently on the all weather, winning his last two starts really well. He is only up 4lb in the weights and with bottom weight here I really think he can take advantage and run another big race. Currently priced at around 10/1, he is good value for a strong each way bet and thats how we are going today.

Results 10th May - Extrodinary event at Ripon.

Not much to report really. Nothing major either way. Tiny loss on method 2 and tiny gain on Method 1.

The NAP was a strange one, he did everything right, but a horse that had no decent previous form, in fact it was beaten 15 lengths in a worse race last time out and had no other good form, absolutely facking bounded home from nowhere. Went out from the off and ran like a champ. No way you can ever find those unless you have the inside info.

I did see a really strange event in the 20:40 at Ripon though, where the your female rider sent her horse for home at about 4f out and absolutely rode it into the floor. It looked like genius for a while as she had them all in trouble behind, but the for some reason with about 300 yards left to go, she just completely eased up  and all of a sudden the rest of the pack was upon her. She turned, realised she had made a mistake and went for it again, but the birds had flown and she lost. Not to mention it was the favourite that she was on! Awful mistake.

Last I heard on Twitter was that she had recieved a 10 day ban. There were also rumours that the horse had collapsed after the race, which was what someone sent into willhill racing radio, but I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere else.

Todays NAP was a tough one. I'll be honest, this isn't a hugely confident pick, but it's the nest of the bunch. He ran with a huge weight at Newcastle and still managed to come out on top, with a little in hand. This step up in distance should suit him nicely and he is really performing well at the moment. Best to strike whilst that Iron is hot.

Polar opposites today for the two methods. Method 1 couldn't hit a winner, where as method 2 nailed 4 out of 5 winners, with a none runner. Method 2 has really started to claw it's way back from earlier in the week. Swings and roundabout.

The Lucky 15 once again delivered ok, with two winners and a none runner, returning just over 38pts.

Todays NAP is Elna Bright. Although not the most consistent of horses, today it recieved another 8lb as it is dropped again. This is a pretty good mark from which it should be able to win from.  The key being none of the opposition look upto much, it's poor by a class 5 standard. Aye Aye digby looks the main danger, as he had his best result for a while on this firmer ground back at the end of Aug last year, but hasn;t done much since. Elna Bright has mainly been running a couple of classes higher up on the turf and it really should be better than these and make the most of it's mark.

Very dissapointed with how the NAP went and the L15 didn't hit the mark today.

Method 1 only had the one selection and it was nap'd by a few renowned tipsters too, but just couldn't go in the final stages of the race.

Method 2 continues to claw back from the low of almost -23pts. Thankfully a win from the 9/1 Borolee made the difference today.

Todays NAP is going to be General Hardi, in the 15:05 Kelso. The opposition all have their negatives and with Rebel Swing now withdrawn this could be the perfect opportunity for him to score. He has had a couple of runs, but this is now more like the ground he prefers and his current mark is very lenient. He should be able to take advantage at a nice price of about 7/1.

NAP of today, Focail Maith, in the 16:50, Yarm. Was very unlucky last time out at Windsor  when he ran into trouble in running, yet still managed to get himself up for 2nd. That was a stronger race than this is and lets add into the mix he has ben dropped a 1lb for that and also that we have Fallon on board. I think there are too many positives for this horse not to give him a cracking chance.

Firsly I just want to comment on the race of the nap, Open Water. I was pretty peeved that the jockey never put it under any serious pressure, it wasn;t hit with a whip and it wasn;t ridden strongly at all. They clearly just sent him out for a run today, much to the frustration of backers and myself. He will be one to watch, in fact I have added him to my NagMe list.

NAP to day is Open Water, in the 17:05 Wind. This race is a pretty damned big drop in grade for this horse and if he can run upto anything like what he has shown in the past he should win this fairly comfortably. Judging by previous form he goes well when he is fresh and this is his first run out since June last year. Also connections seem to think a lot of him so probably more to come from him. Lump on!

Not a bad day, but not a great day either. Started off pretty well with both Universal and Duke Of Firenze both going in in quick succession, but then Jetnova and Country Western were both extremely dissapointing runners.

The NAP landed, which was nice, had a few successful NAPs so far and when we put our bets on this morning we managed to get him at 7/1, which was also pretty nice.

Anyways, Method 1 pretty much broke even today, and Method 2 started clawing back at some of those shitting losses.

An overall gain today +5.62 pts. Not bad considering Saturdays are always the toughest days for any horse racing tipster/punter.
